erasing pain

Erasing pain isn’t easy, especially if you’ve been suffering for a long time, but you can turn your life around and truly astound yourself!

Take Fit Father Mark, for example.

Mark is a 59-year-old husband and father who, after 39 years as an automotive technician, found himself overweight with high blood pressure and excruciating back pain.

Over the years, Mark saw several doctors and surgeons, had numerous MRIs, went through physical therapy, had injections in his back … you name it, he did it.

And no one could give him the help that he needed.

He was already missing work due to the pain, then in 2020, he was voluntarily laid off due to COVID-related cutbacks.

In those six weeks he was off, he did everything he could to get his strength back, but when the time came, he just couldn’t go back to work.

He found himself deep in thought and prayer, wondering what he could do to turn things around.

While searching for ways to lower his blood pressure, he found the Fit Father Project.

He joined, and after 30 days, he had lost weight, his back was feeling a little better, and his whole outlook on life had improved.

So he jumped into a Fit Father All-Access Membership and started erasing pain; the rest is history!

Growing Health Challenges

As mentioned, Mark was dealing with back pain for years.

Nothing was working, and no one had any answers.

“I saw many doctors and surgeons over the years. I had numerous MRIs done, got injections in my back, and even tried physical therapy, among other things. I saw just about everybody you could think of to get rid of my back issues. However, nobody could get me the help that I needed. One of the doctors told me that my symptoms might worsen with time because my L4 or L5, and S1 discs in my lower back were a mess. So they said there was nothing more they could do for me.”

Mark's health problems did end with his back.

“Also, my blood pressure was so out of whack. The doctors could not keep it in check over the last two years. They put me on four different medications to try to get it under control, and they were never able to do it. I also have bad neuropathy in both feet, which constantly burns.”

After getting laid off from his job during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mark spent weeks trying to fix his back.

“I made a conscious effort to get into my stretching and exercise program. I spent six weeks hitting it hard, doing everything I could think of within my power to get my body back to a place where I'd be able to return to work, but it continued to get worse. I could not get over the hump.”

Mark felt defeated by his health and didn't know what to do with his life.

He started by searching for ways to control his blood pressure.

Weight loss wasn't even on his radar.

“I wasn't looking for anything weight-related. I was strictly looking for ways to control blood pressure. I needed to get my blood pressure down. Believe it or not, in my mind, I was not even thinking about weight loss. I was not even thinking that it was an issue with me. I was thinking solely of blood pressure.”

That's when Mark found the Fit Father Project.

“Dr. Anthony made a video on blood pressure and things you could do with supplements and so on. And, of course, the weight loss that came with it.”

Erasing Pain

Mark says that, initially, he was skeptical about the program's claims. But eventually, he started to become a believer.

“When I first looked at the Fit Father Project and saw things about nutrition, I thought there was no way I could lose weight just like that. I also believed I was not the guy for this program.”

However, he started noticing positive changes within two weeks of joining.

“Within two weeks, just with the nutrition, I was starting to feel changes happening in my body. I was doing some very light lifting because, as I said, my back was in such bad shape. After those two weeks, I had already started to lose weight.”

According to Mark, watching the techniques of the workouts closely and following them with slight modifications were keys to his progress.

He also adhered to the nutrition component of the program, and it blew him away.

“I lost 24 pounds in my first 30 days. I could hardly believe it. Things started to loosen up for me. My back started to feel a little better. My perspective really started to change. I was starting to smile again. It was like having a huge burden lifted off of me. And I was starting to recognize that this program was really working.”

Reingovoriated, Mark has a whole new outlook on life.

“My back is still not 100 percent. I still have neuropathy in my feet. But my health and the way that I feel or look at things; everything has changed. I feel like a new man.”

Mark has now lost over 40 pounds, and his wife and daughter have joined his journey.

They're all getting fitter together — as a family.

So what would Mark say to someone looking to join the Fit Father Project?

“We were watching the first Wonder Woman movie. We were at the theater, and she had quoted during the movie that everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear. I thought, wow, what a statement. Everything I’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear. I really started to think about the things that have held me back over the past in different areas of my life and realize how many times fear did rise up and get in the way of me progressing in different things. The only reason I bring that up is because that was one of the quotes that I had read that particular morning before I actually signed up for the Fit Father Project because I was thinking, I’m not the guy for this program. I felt the Lord showed me that he wanted me to do this, and it just sunk into me. That’s how everything happened. It started a change.”
