putting in the work

Episode 120 of the Fit Father Project Podcast is all about putting in the work and how making small lifestyle changes can lead to big results.

In this episode, you’ll meet Fit Father Keith, an Air Force veteran, husband, and father of four.

He’s also about to kick off a new phase of life, as he’s working on earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree!

Needless to say, he’s a busy man.

And at 51, he could have used that (and a host of other things) as an excuse to just chalk up weight gain to getting older.

But that’s not Keith’s story!

Hear more about Keith's journey:

Keith knew he wanted more, and he went out there and got after it.

When he found himself over 200 pounds and on blood pressure and cholesterol medication, he knew he needed to make a change.

And that’s when he found the Fit Father Project.

Now, he’s down over 50 pounds, turned his gut into washboard abs, got off his blood pressure medications, and is almost completely off his cholesterol medication.

The best part of it all is that Keith doesn’t think he’s special or one with great genetics — he just showed up and put in the work.

And by making some simple, seemingly mundane changes, he was able to see profound results.

So put away all your excuses and prepare to be inspired!

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • The health issues Keith was going through and how they affected his mental and emotional states.
  • Why he refused to let ‘getting older’ be an excuse.
  • The keys to effective, sustainable nutrition.
  • Why it’s never too late to start anything.
  • The importance of a mission statement — and how to create yours.
  • And so much more!
